New action blockbuster this summer? Nope. I once asked if speedbumps damaged cars….well now I would have to say “yes”. Jen had to replace her tie rods on the ’scort, and now, $220 later, even the Escape fell victim to the year and a half of speed bumpage. Stabilizer bars, a tie rod, all replaced. Sweet.

Bah, I thought you were going to rant about the movie. I thought it sucked. Gave it about 2 out of 5.

Yeah, overall I’d probably rate it as average. I thought it was entertaining, but overly cheesy in a lot of places. Maybe it’s the nostalgia for the “originals” (speaking of, I still need to get the set!). Maybe it’s my intense hatred for Shia LeBeouf. Maybe it was the attempt at an X-Files-ish feel…I’m all for mystic secrets of the ancient world, but aliens? Come on!
As for other movies, I’d put Iron Man as the kick-ass movie of the summer, possibly one of the best superhero movies ever. Of course The Dark Knight is still coming…
I thought Prince Caspian was good, too. And who’s going to see Sex and the City!

On the other hand, “Indiana’s Revenge” might make for a good title if they screw the pooch altogether and make another sequel with Shia as the title character. Gahhhhhhh!
Heh, but then maybe LucasArts could make a new crossover adventure game tie-in: “Secret of Monkey Island: Indiana’s Revenge”.
Yeah, I’m ready for the weekend.
