Dammit. Thank you, MSU football, for completely ruining my day. It’s not enough that you couldn’t just be utterly dominated….no, you had to give a glimmer of hope by actually starting to play and going up by 10. But then you showed the most useless excuse for a pass defense ever conceived. They’re throwing the fucking ball long down the field, towards the sidelines. Stop letting them catch the fucking thing. Dammit. See ya next year.

I’m still pissed. I honestly think you could bring a high school team in (not even a *good* one, mind you), have them throw long passing bombs, and they would burn the MSU secondary all day long. Sigh….
I still can’t figure it out - is it a problem with the skills and talent of our players, or is it poor defensive playcalling??

The worst part of the last two passes was that both times, the defender was right there with the receiver. Then the defender looked up at the ball and only had to backpedal for 3 yards to knock it down. And both times the defender tripped over his own feet and couldn’t even get back to deflect the pass. Especially the go-ahead TD. The DB watched Henne the whole time, saw the ball coming, had plenty of time to react, and then completely blew it as the ball sailed over his head.
