While my "Where are they now" of MSU sports is perpetually in development, my dad sent me this article. Van Dyke started for the Arena Football League’s Los Angeles Avengers this weekend in Grand Rapids. Sounds like it went well:
"The Rampage, with the help of a fumbled L.A. kick return, led 14-0 before Van Dyke ever took the field. Once he did, things didn’t improve.
L.A.’s opening possession included a sack of Van Dyke and ended at the Avenger 3-yard line. After another G.R. touchdown, L.A.’s next possession ended with a Van Dyke interception.
It was the last pass Van Dyke would throw. Hodgkiss turned the offense over to Brian Mann, L.A.’s starting QB in the previous two games, but that didn’t prevent a 66-41 loss for the Avengers."
