The world’s most retarded stop sign (2)

I think I have found the world’s most idiotic stop sign ever. Exhibit A:

Here’s the rundown: Douglas goes East-West, and is a rather busy street. Ivy runs North-South, and for what I can tell is just a run of the mill side street, though it does run between Douglas and Edison. The problem arises when Ivy is under construction, and they have a 3-way stop implemented at this intersection. Gahhhh! Why in the blue hell should I have to stop and give way for someone to turn onto a much busier road? Either put in a stop light (which would NOT be much better), or get rid of it! I could save so much time if I didn’t have to stop. Anyway…..just my $.02.
