Just a quick note to anyone who only knew MJ as an alleged child molester: He was quite possibly the GREATEST entertainer of our time. I actually call him the greatest, but I concede that it could be argued he was only top 3. Anyone who doubts needs only to listen to the Thriller album or watch the “Beat it” or “Thriller” videos. The evidence speaks for itself.

I totally agree! I was quite sad when I heard the news. I LOVED him when I was little…I even had one glove that I wore around the house!

Totally agree. One question, though – who else would you put in the top 3 for greatest entertainer of our time? I’m hard-pressed to think of who I would put *above* MJ….I mean, you can disagree with what he’d become and how he’d spent the last decade or so…but what he did for the entertainment industry in general is so monumental…I can’t think of anyone who impacted it *more*. He was an entertainment and music icon whose career spanned decades and continents. Who would somebody place as even more important in that regard?

Personally, I wouldn’t put anyone above Michael Jackson. I do know a few people who stated they would put Elvis and/or the Beatles ahead of him so I threw them a bone when writing.
